Ingrown Toenail Surgery

Ingrowing Toe nails can be treated conservatively, or with a procedure to permanently correct the problem.

  • The procedure involves numbing the toe with a local anaesthetic. Once numb, the offending nail margin is removed and cauterised to prevent regrowth in the area.

  • Once numb, there is no pain during the procedure.

  • The patient is able to walk out, and can wear shoes after 2-3 days
